December 27, 2015 | 14 Comments Hello and finally it’s happened! It’s been a long time coming and I’m finally managed to get in front of my camera to bring you my very first video log to coincide with my blog. This is blog entry Day 10 of my 30 day blog Challenge For the past week I’ve been busy researching to get my home video production studio as close to perfect as possible. The reason I’ve set up this home video studio is for recording content for my upcoming videos training series related to business process management and improvement. I also want to practice standing up and presenting for my business improvement workshops that are scheduled for next year, 2016. The business improvement videos will exist on a whole new website and channel separate form my personal blog. More details to come in the new year. My Studio Setup Ok, let me give you a quick tour of my setup. These are the studio lights and white screen I borrowed from my friends. This is my homemade teleprompter. I hacked it together with a small android tablet, a piece of glass from a photo frame, a box and a straw. Total cost $0! This is my Mic. It is a Rode SmartLav Plus and it clips to my shirt. Great audio quality with very little background noise and hiss. The Canon 1100D DSLR camera to shoot my videos. It records at 720p. I will find a way to create a new video each time I publish a blog post like some of my blogger friends like Jelena Ostrovska does. There is quite a bit to learn, like getting the lighting and audio right. I look like I’m in heaven or something with the lighting so bright doesn’t it? I love learning new things and sharing what I’ve learned to help others so I’m up for the challenge.
