If anyone associated with those observations/metrics is un-clear what they represent, then you need to keep re-clarifying them until they are clear to everyone. Take actions that can’t send you OTB to ensure you are still in the game and can move forwards if the action doesn’t work out as expected. The context is the container for your content in your life. The how is the content, which will come once you know the why/context of the situation. Focus on the level of experience you’re delivering, not the product or service, as it’s easily re-producible. The leaders make a prediction and deliver successfully turning theory into principle. When communicating with people, focus on being interested rather than interesting. You demonstrate that you care more when you’re interested in listening to what someone has to say. You also learn more by being interested, as you’ll be more open to learning new theories and associated stories to help you remember them. Old school American business management theory.
